Workout Data

To provide the Service, we store information that you choose to enter, including:

• Sets, repetitions, weights, and notes
• Workout duration and timestamps
• Progress statistics and training insights

You remain the owner of the workout data you create.

Device Information

We may automatically collect limited technical information, including:

• App version

• Crash and diagnostic information

This information helps us improve reliability and troubleshoot issues.

Analytics

We collect anonymous or pseudonymous usage analytics to understand how SetForge is used and to improve the product. Examples include:

• Screens visited
• Workout completion
• Onboarding completion
• Notification preferences
• App performance metrics

Analytics data is not used to sell your personal information.

AI Features

Some features use artificial intelligence to analyze workout history, import routines from text, or generate training recommendations.

When you use these features, the minimum information necessary to generate a response is securely transmitted to Groq (groq.com) for processing. Groq acts as a data processor on our behalf and is subject to its own privacy policy.

We do not use your workout data to train AI models.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Synchronize your workouts across devices.
• Save your routines and workout history.
• Generate workout statistics and insights.
• Provide optional AI-powered features.
• Send local notifications for rest timers (if enabled).
• Improve the reliability, security, and performance of the Service.

3. Notifications

If you grant permission, SetForge may send local notifications to remind you when your rest timer has completed.

These notifications are generated on your device and can be disabled at any time through the app or your device settings.

4. How We Store Your Information

Your account and workout data are securely stored using cloud infrastructure provided by trusted service providers.

We use industry-standard security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

5. Third-Party Services

To operate SetForge, we use the following third-party providers that process information on our behalf:

• Supabase — user authentication, cloud database, and storage
• PostHog — pseudonymous usage analytics (linked to your account ID)
• Groq — AI-powered features (workout analysis, routine generation, coaching)

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their services.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active.

When you permanently delete your account using the in-app deletion feature:

• Your authentication account is deleted.
• Your workout history, routines, and associated personal data are permanently removed from our systems, except where we are legally required to retain certain information.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent where applicable.
• Request a copy of your personal information where required by law.

You can permanently delete your account directly within the app.

8. Children's Privacy

SetForge is not intended for children under the minimum age required to create an online account in their country.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use the Service.

If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it as soon as reasonably practicable.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own.

Where required, we take appropriate safeguards to protect personal information during international transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If significant changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify users through the app.
